This is a Victorian State accredited course developed to address skills development associated with the introduction of the NDIS.
This course reflects the skills and knowledge required to equip the existing disability support workforce with strategies to ensure that people with a disability take and use medication in accordance with the documented medication chart/treatment sheet developed by their medical practitioner.
“Having all our employees undertake the ‘22558VIC Course in Supporting People with Disability to use Medications’ course has resulted in a workforce that is far better skilled in the area of medication management. The feedback by participants has been overwhelmingly positive. Thank you to everyone at AHT for assisting us to significantly reduce our medication errors and the associated risks”.
