Continence Management

Continence Management

Continence care involves establishing the underlying cause, not just selecting products for containment. Needing to wear incontinence pads every day may have a significant negative effect upon the person’s quality of life, and can result in decreased confidence and self-esteem. Products should be viewed as a last resort or an interim measure as they will not result in the condition being managed.
