CPR for Infants & Children

OVERVIEW

Research shows that a majority of people facing an emergency situation will provide first aid treatment or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to a family member or a person they know. This can be confronting and scary for anyone, although having the skills and knowledge to deal with an emergency can make all the difference.  Learn the essential life-saving skills of CPR and first aid for infants & children and know how to help your child in an emergency... Perfect for first time parents (and grandparents)!

CONTENT

This workshop covers the following:

  • CPR for infants (0-12 months)
  • CPR for children (1- 8 years)
  • Drowning response
  • Choking
  • Burns
  • Head injuries
  • Poisoning

WORKSHOP DELIVERY

This workshop is delivered in the classroom over a two hour duration.

FEES

$10.00 per person

(Includes a 10% discount voucher off HLTAID003 Provide First Aid)

Group or corporate bookings can be delivered onsite within your workplace or in our Blackburn, Narre Warren or Preston training rooms. Talk to our workshop team in this instance.

Please note that due to the use of training equiptment, infants and children will not be able to attend with you on this occasion. So little ones will need to be looked after whilst you are learning these essential skills.

COMPLETION

Upon successful completion of the workshop, participants will be able to confidently demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and will receive a Statement of Attendance within 10 business days.
