Racecourse Grange is Australian Unity’s newest aged care residence and we’re getting ready to open up two new households. To successfully open these we need experienced Care Partners to take the lead in these households and bring our Better Together promise to life by connecting, respecting and make things possible for every one of our residents 

You will be encouraged to take the time to understand our resident’s food preferences, sleeping habits, physical abilities, emotional needs, hobbies and interests so we can provide high quality care and make them feel at home.

What you will be doing 

  • Overseeing the day to day activities of a household and ensuring the delivery of reliable and respectful care that maximises independence of our residents wherever possible
  • Developing meaningful and collaborative relationships with residents and their families
  • Mentoring, supervising and leading a team of skilled Care Companions 
  • Promoting and embedding quality care by bringing to life Better Together Promise
  • Collaborating with all streams of care to ensure we maintain the highest standard of care, accurate documentation and seamless handovers 

About you

  • You’re comfortable being bold, warm and honest in your interactions with your team, residents and their families
  • Putting our residents front and centre is a priority for you
  • Creating a great place to work for you and your team is important to you
  • Diploma in Nursing (preferred) Certificate 3 or 4 in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Practical experience working in the aged care or a similar industry
  • Experienced and confident leading and or mentoring a team
